Pokemon Webcomic?

Journal Entry: Tue May 20, 2008, 8:19 PM
So, I don't know if this might interest any artist that might be watching me, but I have gained a strong desire to turn Pokemon OceanBlue into a webcomic. The problem is, I need someone to draw it for me. So, I've been wondering if anyone might be interested in drawing it, or even making a sprite comic out of the story. :iconfreerefill: and I are still continuing to write the story, and would love if someone would be interested in drawing it. If not, it will continue to be posted up in the form of a story, but if someone is interested, I would love to speak with you about it. So, anyone interested?

Pokemon Game?

Journal Entry: Wed May 7, 2008, 6:58 PM
Ok, so, this is only an idea. It's not a "This game is in production" or a "This game WILL be in production" or anything...this is simply an IDEA topic. I've been wanting to make a Pokemon game for a while...pretty much since the times of Pokemon Gold...I found a pokemon starter kit on one website, however, that seems to work almost perfectly, thus, I figured maybe I would give it a try. Looking it over a little, the program looks difficult to use, but if I can learn it, I can probably make a good game. My problem is thus: Why bother if no one will help?

In all my days of game making, I've made about 5 games...none released...why? I never had the people to help me finish them up...Keys to Destruction lacked graphics...HUGE amounts of graphics...we're talking about 90% of the game...Crystals of Chaos hit Beta, and too many complaints came in about some systems in the game which can only be improved with help from others. No help has come, and thus, I cannot finish it. Others include games like Battle Chess and <Other World Wars> (Only a working title). So, I don't want to try making this game if no one will help.

So, the main idea for this is that I want to make a Pokemon game where you can ACTUALLY catch them all. Any Pokemon fans know that, in order to catch them all, you must have all the games in the series thus far. The plans for this game are to include all the regions: Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh, along with a possible 5th region. I plan to have a character selection screen that will allow you to choose name, gender, look, and "home region" AKA, which of the 4 (or 5) regions you start in. That being said, this does mean I will also need 4 groups of elite four...(one for each region) and so on...

I wouldn't be surprised if no one is willing to help. I have all the graphics I need for all of the pokemon, but for trainers, elite four, gyms, etc, I have very little, and will require assistance. Also, if a 5th region is added, I would expect that a new set of original Pokemon would be needed...I don't expect it to be a full-on region...but a small region, perhaps a gym or two, and about 20 pokemon would be enough...consider it a "final conquest" to truly catch them all...

For this, however, I will need a lot of help, and thus, I will not even consider doing this unless I have some kind of team. I have 3 people on the current team, but we are nothing more then just simple, close friends, each with our own busy lives that need attention. In short...none of us are really capable of doing drawing any graphics...(on top of that, only one of us can draw...). If no one wants to help with this, that is fine, it is all up to you.

Current name: Pokemon Legends (only a working title)

The Return of Book of Change

Journal Entry: Thu Mar 27, 2008, 9:15 PM
That's right, today is our official relaunch of Book of Change. We'll be starting it off first with an introduction filler from our new artist, TR. It will introduce his new style for everyone to see. After that, on Tuesday, April 1st, we will be starting things up completely. So, leave your comments, welcome our artist, and let the odd changing, gender bending, world hopping, and who knows what else that will be involved in this comic, begin!

Book of Change

Journal Entry: Fri Mar 7, 2008, 10:40 PM
So, March 8 is now here. It is now 12:30 AM EST, meaning the auditions for new artist ended 30 mins ago. Due to the fact that there were 2 auditions, it has not taken us long to choose an artist. In fact, the second person to audition almost begged us to choose the first...ok...not begged...but already said he knew we would pick the first...So, I am pleased to introduce our new artist for Book of Change, TR-the-one-and-only. We have already struck a deal with TR and the following are the plans for Book of Change:

1. Chapter 1 will continue to be posted here on Deviantart until March 26 (if my calculations are correct) in which Chapter 1 will be complete. After which, on Friday the 28, TR's "Introduction comic" will be posted up. Leaving April 1st, 2008 to be the first Book of Change comic.

2. We are starting from the Prologue, so both the Prologue and Chapter 1 that were posted here will be found there. So, if you wish to save the "suspense" of what happens until it reaches comic form, I suggest you stop reading the scripts today, cause they won't be stopping until all of chapter 1 is up.

3. We are hoping (I say that lightly) for a 2 a week schedule, but as you know, we can only keep a schedule if we have a buffer. Due to this, we are accepting fillers from fans if you so desire, that we may use during times when we just can't update due to one reason or another.

4. Finally, Chapter 2 will only be posted here on Deviantart should something happen and Book of Change once again fail in comic form. At that time, I may or may not consider posting the comic up in script form on Smack Jeeves as well as here.

Feel free to comment if you so desire. We still have our forums open here: [link] That's about it. -bows- I hope that you all will enjoy what Book of Change is about to become.

A VERY odd anime

Journal Entry: Tue Mar 4, 2008, 12:06 AM
So...I've been watching Fushigiboshi no Futago Hime which according to the translators translates to "The Twin Princess of the Mysterious Star" I have NO idea what has attracted me to this anime...it is VERY odd, and is definitely a kid's show, but it's so cute! I've been watching it and enjoying it so far. I just finished episode 6. For anyone who wants to see it, you can either download it via torrent through honobono.cc or go to crunchyroll.com, sign up and you can stream it there. Either way, I recommend it. It's a magical girl anime and is very cute. If you don't like it, though, and think it is dumb, don't yell at me...I find it odd, stupid, and yet very enjoyable. So, if you don't enjoy it, that's your own opinion I suppose. Oh, and also check out hime-chan no Ribbon on the same two sites ^^ Lastly, anyone have a copy of episode 35 of Hime-chan? Crunchyroll's copy is 20 seconds long and honobono isn't there yet ><
